Intertek expands materials testing capabilities with opening of new lab in Plymouth, Michigan

Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, has expanded its materials testing capabilities with the opening of a new lab at its Transportation Technologies facility in Plymouth, Michigan.
The new materials lab is a one-stop resource for testing and inspection for plastic, polymeric, and composite materials, serving a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, building products, consumer, electronics, and many others.
The lab strengthens Intertek’s ability to support customers earlier in the product development lifecycle, enabling movement from material insight to product validation with greater technical depth. Specifically, the expanded capabilities reinforce Intertek Plymouth’s role as a technical resource for automotive OEMs, suppliers, and adjacent industries by broadening support from base materials to finished parts.
